Overview
Strategies
This weapon is great for picking off weapons at medium range, and can still knock parts off at longer ranges. The ST-M23 Defender deals great damage and can function as another layer of armour as it is very tough to destroy. Especially effective in low (<3000) PS builds where it can conveniently bolster or replace frontal armour. As with all machine guns, bursting fire and using multiple ST-M23 Defenders is most effective.
To overcome the limited firing angle, it is important to have a vehicle that can turn quickly, and to avoid close range battles whenever possible.
